FormscanBy Donal Murphy - DASMYHOSS might be able to take this on his handicap debut. A winner of a bumper at Tramore in August of 2017, he has mixed it between the flat and hurdles since. He was beaten by three just part of a length in the Ladies Derby at the Curragh last summer, and while his recent efforts are far from inspiring, he is better than that. He looks reasonably well-treated here off a mark of 101, and with Dillon Maxwell taking a valuable seven pounds off, a bold bid looks likely. Breesy Mountain was still in front when he fell at the last at Fairyhouse on his most recent outing, and he is given second preference. The Shane Crawley trained seven-year-old was successful at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, and has the ability to make his presence felt here. Deburrafield is another handicap debutant in the line-up, and he has definite claims, while Oromo, Whatsinthecorner and Tintown Robin are others for the shortlist in this competitive contest.
