The Kheleyf gelding has just one win to his name from forty starts, but makes his debut for Denis Hogan now and is fitted with a tongue strap for the first time. He was a decent fourth over the course and distance on his last start and a reproduction of that performance should see him go close. Bated Beauty also has her first start for Hogan, with Joe Doyle booked to partner this five-year-old. A beaten favourite when third on her last start at Chelmsford, it'll be interesting to see how the chestnut fares now. Everyhouronthehour is one with more obvious claims having scored over the course and distance in November, while Masalai, Pulsating and handicap debutant Gregorio Park are others of interest.
