In that Cork maiden the John Oxx-trained selection raced in the mid-division on the near side, and he made progress in fifth two furlongs out. Ridden to go third a furlong and a half out, Highland Dress led a furlong out, keeping on well in the final furlong to beat Arabeska by two and a quarter lengths. That silver medallist has triumphed since and the Highland Dress might well be able to step up to beat the likes of Drombeg Dream, Klute and company.
