The former just failed by a head in Naas while the latter was a close fourth (over a furlong further) in Limerick, and both races have been franked. At these weights, however, preference is for In The Present. She is rated 88, some 12lbs higher than Erlking yet they race off level weights this evening. The horse a place behind In The Present in third at Naas, Unforgetable, came out and won a fillies' maiden in Fairyhouse on Sunday by two and a half lengths. In addition, In The Present was only beaten four lengths into sixth in a Group Three on her penultimate start at Naas and has come home third in Listed company in the Curragh. Erlking was a beaten favourite when a close fourth in Limerick (runner-up Marchons Ensemble has since gone in at Bellewstown). He was headed in the final 100 yards of that seven-furlong race, so dropping back to six could be ideal. He was only pipped by a neck over six in Listowel last month. After two solid third-placed finishes, Prince Of Naples looks best of the rest. He was a place behind Erlking in Listowel.
