He fits in neatly from his 123 chase rating and while he is the only horse with a 4lbs penalty, he comes here a proven performer at this grade and over this type of trip with ground to suit as an experienced runner with six previous chase runs. Debuchet was a one-time high class prospect who finished second in the 2017 Cheltenham Bumper before winning his second bumper at Listed level. However he proved to be a thorough disappointment for much of his hurdling career and while he initially attained a 140 rating in that sphere, failed to win in 11 starts over hurdles. Connections have now opted to go chasing and while he won't be everyone's pick today given his previous disappointments, it is very possible chasing could bring about a big improvement in his fortunes and could trouble the selection. Dashing Oscar was himself once rated 140, in the UK, over hurdles and is another interesting runner on his second chase outing. He was well held on his only previous chase in May 2018 and while he is a useful type for this grade, his most recent form in the UK and more recently in Ireland is a cause for some concern. An Fraoch Mor is capable and while he does look a chaser in the making, has run just three times over hurdles and now makes his chase debut. Minella Till Dawn faces a tough task on his return following a long layoff.
