QUOTE has two solid efforts to her name, and while she is far from being one of the leading lights at Ballydoyle, she might be able to take this. She showed promise when ninth of twenty on her sole start as a juvenile at Leopardstown in October, and she again ran with credit when fourth on her seasonal debut at Gowran in April. She is likely to come on plenty for that recent effort, and it'll be disappointing if she is not involved towards the business end here. The 97 rated Mackqeez sets the standard. He was an excellent fifth in the Beresford Stakes on his penultimate start, but was a bit disappointing on his first start as a three-year-old. He makes his debut for Ger Lyons now, and it'll be interesting to see how he fares. Tipperary runner-up Halimi, the Dermot Weld trained newcomer Pepper 'N Salt, and the twice raced No Say Ever are others leading contenders.
