Willie Mullins has won it four times in the last seven years and his Asterion Forlonge appears a serious contender after impressive wins at Naas and Leopardstown respectively. The son of Arakan should come on plenty for that experience and it'll come as little surprise if he manages to go one place better here. A point-to-point winner for Cian Hughes, the Yeats gelding has been flawless in three track starts since, quickening away from his rivals in the manner of a smart horse at Newbury on his latest start. Henderson also has a leading contender in the shape of Shishkin. Another to win a point-to-point, he has impressed in three of his four outings since and it'll be disappointing if he is not involved towards the business end here. Fiddlerontheroof also warrants the utmost respect after easily winning the Grade 1 Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown in early January.
