Having been held up out the back then he made a few jumping errors but ran on strongly in the closing stages to finish second to Ciankyle. Going a bit further now looks an obvious move. Ingleby Mackenzie is the form horse coming into this and obviously has to be respected. He won a shade cosily at Tramore last time and should still be competitive despite a 10lb rise for that victory. He didn't run a bad race when fifth on his return to hurdling at Bellewstown three weeks ago and has been eased a pound since then.
