FormscanBy Michael Graham - LIL GREY has had an excellent campaign for Sheila Lavery and can grab her second victory. She was a comfortable winner over six furlongs here in June before finishing a more than creditable sixth of 25 in the Group Three Albany at Royal Ascot. Last month she was beaten into second by the more than useful Roman Turbo in a Group Three at this track. This is a drop in trip for her but she tends to travel well in her races, so she should cope with it. Her form is rock solid. Millisle has questions to answer after being beaten at 1/2 in Down Royal, however, the winner of that race (Think Big) is highly thought of, so quotes of 12/1 for Millisle could be a shade big. Air Force Jet has been keeping some very good company and it is worth noting that he took the scalp of subsequent Windsor Castle winner Southern Hills in a maiden at Navan in June. He should be bang in contention. This is a drop in class for King Neptune who came in second to high-class Siskin when last seen in Listed company here in May. He is another that merits plenty of respect in a hot race.
