The son of Stormy River made the breakthrough at Leopardstown in May, and finished third to two subsequent winners on his next start at the Foxrock venue. He didn't have much luck in running when fifth on his most recent outing, and with a clearer passage now he can be expected to go close. Joseph O'Brien appears to have strong claims, saddling Medal Of Honour, Tremendous Leap, and Band Of Outlaws. The latter is tried in cheekpieces for the first time, while the former was successful over the course and distance in May. Lethal Power, who is a half-brother to dual Group 1 winner Lethal Force, is sure to have plenty of supporters. The progressive son of Acclamation won well on his last start at Leopardstown, and a bold bid looks likely. The consistent Bucky Larson is another to consider.
