FormscanBy Gary Carson - The fact that Godolphin colt Quorto comes over for this makes it a fascinating clash but ANTHONY VAN DYCK looks like he'll be a tough nut to crack as he bids to give Aidan O'Brien a remarkable 12th success in the race. This has been won by some outstanding racehorses in the past and Anthony Van Dyck looks to have the makings of a proper colt. He showed a terrific attitude to get the job done here last time when getting the better of front-running stable-mate Christmas, who certainly pulled no punches in the Futurity Stakes. The fact that he is battled hardened like that coming into this race may give him the edge on the Godolphin colt Quorto who hasn't been seen since winning the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket in mid-July. He stretched away in good style to beat another Ballydoyle horse in Cape Of Good Hope then but did drift left when asked to go, as he also did on his debut, so it will be interesting to see if he stays straight stepped up in grade now.
