FormscanBy Tom Weekes - This should be straightforward for star filly MAGICAL who has proven herself to retain last year's ability as a 4yo on recent runs. She finished off last term with a cracking runner-up defeat to Enable in the Breeders Cup Turf last November and returned to action this year in beating stablemate Flag Of Honour twice, at Naas in April and latterly over today's course and distance. She is likely to again prove too strong for Flag Of Honour and should also beat the other three runners, who are each smart horses. Verbal Dexterity won the Group 1 National Stakes as a juvenile and while he failed to build on that promise as a 3yo (when missing the early part of the year), he did at least return to form at Leopardstown recently and should give Flag Of Honour a race for the runner-up spot today. Mustajeer is a capable performer in lesser company but should struggle here while Zihba tries 12mf for the first time today, was behind Verbal Dexterity on his latest run and is now tried in a first-time tongue-tie.%0A
