A four time winner on the level, the son of Dragon Pulse was beaten just half a length on his debut over flights at Cork in November. He ran another cracker to finish third on his handicap debut at the Fairyhouse Easter Festival and while he was a bit disappointing at Punchestown since, when not jumping great, he still had plenty of decent sorts in behind. Mam Trasna was disappointingly beaten into second at Tramore earlier this month, and the winner of that race since failed to make an impact on her next start at Wexford. Gordon Elliott trains Mam Trasna and he is also represented by Erratic Path. He too was disappointing last time out at Ballinrobe, and will need to improve if he is to feature here. All For Nothing has some useful form to his name and should give a good account of himself, while Licklighter is another obvious contender. Denis Hogan trains the latter and he also has The Second Coming in the mix. A good fourth on his debut over flights at Fairyhouse in April, he since failed to fire at Cork. Four time Flat winner Best Not Argue, Ificudiwud and Clancypantz are others for the shortlist.
