The Famous Name gelding chased home a cosy winner in Shantou Lucky then and this slight step up in trip looks like it should suit. He got 3lb for that runner-up effort but looks capable of landing a race of this standard off his mark. Auckland is an interesting rival on his handicap debut. He was well fancied on his first run for connections at Gowran in March but was well beaten. The grey obviously shows a bit more at home and dropping in grade now he could be a contender. Call The Fairies was placed twice in maidens last term and is another that has to come into calculations.
