Simsir caused a shock when beating much better fancied stablemate Hazran on debut in a Cork maiden earlier this month. The Zoffany gelding looked a promising sort and it will be interesting to see how he's progressed from that run. Yuften held a rating of 116 in his younger days with William Haggas, and has recorded a total of five claiming race wins since snapped up cheaply last autumn.
