His winning run started with success on the Flat at Bellewstown in early July and he still looks on a nice rating off a 8lb higher mark than he had then. Obviously this is a drop back in trip but he has operated at even shorter than this in the past. Having gone up 24lb over timber there still looks scope for further success switching codes now. Damian English was hoping there was more to come from Alfirak after his victory here last month and he could be a danger despite a 6lb raise for that victory. Pedisnap has enjoyed a good campaign and ran better when stepped up to this trip at Naas last time. A further 3lb rise makes life tougher but she could produce another big show.
