FormscanBy Tom Weekes - THE KID BOBBY B might be able to improve from his recent course outing last month and win on his first try at 1m4f in this open looking handicap. He won a useful maiden (the smart second, third, fourth, fifth, seventh and tenth have all won since) at this venue over a mile on his final start as a juvenile last October and while he has seemingly met a setback since then, returned a well supported favourite here in August before ultimately being well held. He should however come forward form that run and this step to 1m4f could also help him considerably. New Direction is a previous CD winner and comes here fit and clearly well and has obvious claims, without being necessarily ahead of the handicapper. Boho, another three year old, competes in his first handicap and cannot be dismissed given he has bumped into some smart types recently. Spiral Galaxy comes here in fine form but has plenty weight.
