FormscanBy Tom Weekes - AR EAGLA NA HEAGLA returns to the flat here following a successful recent spell chasing and can prove nicely handicapped and win. She is a capable and thoroughly versatile performer who seems equally at home on the flat, over hurdles and fences and on fast and slow ground and has also finished second on this all-weather surface in the past. She won her most recent chase at Down Royal (when left clear) and was a winner of her most recent flat handicap outing at Leopardstown in June. She is 5lbs higher now than winning that but today's race is a winneable one and today's different rider again claims 7lbs. Pass The Ball has been a fine servant, winning six times and three point-to-points, and while he has strong claims on best form, hasn't run since May and has top weight to defy. Caronda has shown form at this level and while she is now without a win in 14 starts, has been running well from her low rating and clearly likes today's surface. Romantically, by Camelot, has her first start at this trip in a handicap today and could get involved while Cliara's rating has fallen in recent months and she did show up well over course and distance three weeks ago.
