METIER has previously shown just useful form but at Gowran won in the style of a horse going places with the form taking notable steps forward in the interim. Runner-up Bashiyr was beaten 6L but won twice subsequently and is now rated 92 while the 10L fourth placed horse won his next start and is now rated 81. Tauran Shaman is another capable performer and is now 5lbs better off than when beating Insane Bolt a short-head at Galway in July. The third-placed Cosmic Horizon is now 1lb better off with Tauran Shaman and while each has claims, they could prove vulnerable to a potentially very well handicapped METIER. Major Reward is useful at this level but may not be ahead of the handicapper while Mutadaawel is a useful type but tries this trip for the first time. Kiss For A Jewel won her maiden on her fifth attempt at Tipperary last month and can get involved for the placings on handicap debut while Tennessee Wildcat has a tougher task than when winning his Claimer at Gowran last month.
