A half-brother to Grade 1 winning stablemate Great Field, the French import was third on his sole start in his native land. That effort came way back in October of 2017 and he was subsequently sold for 200,000 pounds. He has probably met with some difficulties in training since, but he is still only five and it'll be interesting to see how he fares here. The Very Man crashed out at the last when still in with every chance on his hurdling debut at Punchestown last month. He carries eight pounds more than the selection and may need this run to get his confidence back. Jason The Militant ran a nice race to finish third on debut in a bumper over the course and distance last December. The Henry de Bromhead trained gelding starts off over flights now and should give a good account of himself with Rachael Blackmore aboard. Three Jacks, who was rated as high as 97 on the level, is an interesting contender on his hurdling debut, while three time bumper winner Bentham is another that can't be ruled out.
