FormscanBy Michael Graham - Clonmel runner-up LICKLIGHTER holds solid credentials in this claiming hurdle, especially with a rating of 110 and Paul Cawley taking 7lbs off his back. He would prefer better ground but this is a very weak race and odds of 9/2 are certainly appealing. My Manekineko has been running better over fences than hurdles this year, so comes with risks. Falak looks a short price on the back of being beaten more than 20 lengths into third in a selling handicap hurdle at Stratford earlier in the month. City Limits disappointed in Downpatrick but a reproduction of his three previous placed outings would have him in contention. The ground doesn't look to be in his favour, though, and he is a 17-race maiden.
