FormscanBy Tom Weekes - FINE BRUNELLO has shown enough in his career thus far to suggest he can win this, with trip and ground very much in his favour. His only career win has been in a French bumper in August 2018 but he was a capable hurdler last season and seems to have taken well enough to fences. He was never in winning contention before staying on well late-on over course and distance her recently behind smart, if enigmatic, Sayo and today's race represents a drop in class. Davy Russell is a notable booking for Barry Connell's Mount Pelier and he is interesting on chase and seasonal debut. He was quite capable in bumpers and over hurdles and while his lack of a recent outing is a negative, he could get involved today if taking well to fences. Visioman has top weight to defy and while he has clearly been in excellent form over similar distances, it is a concern that all his best form has been on a sound surface and he comes here with a little to prove ground-wise. Stormey chased home the selection here on the pair's recent meeting and while he has solid place claims, should struggle to turn form. Tigris River's last win came in the 2017 Galway Hurdle but has been beaten out of sight on his chase runs todate. However the dream of winning a chase remains alive but his best chance of doing so probably lies in a sound surface tasty handicap chase next year.%0A
