She drops back to maiden company now, and should give a good account of herself with Gary Carroll in the saddle. The aforementioned Singer was an eye-catching third on her first start at the Curragh, and she is given second preference. She is out of dual Listed winner Caponata, and can be expected to come on plenty for that debut effort. Aidan O'Brien saddles Afar, Chablis, and Simply Beautiful, and it would come as no surprise if any of them were to prevail. Jim Bolger also saddles three, with Oiche Re Gaelai, who was sixth at Leopardstown on Saturday, appearing the pick of these. Others for the shortlist here are Baladiya and Porterinthejungle.
