She’s making her debut in handicap chases off a similar mark to what she has over hurdles, but as a three-time point-to-point winner you’d be hopeful that she might improve a bit more over the larger obstacles. She’s been gradually getting better in her beginners’ chases, with her fourth to Westland Row here followed by a fair third at Roscommon behind Grey Waters. Ocean Glandore has added two handicap chase wins this summer to his tally of four hurdle wins, and he’s a thorough stayer over this kind of distance. He’s up over a stone in the ratings for wins last month at Limerick and Tipperary, so things are getting harder for him. Riviera Sun is a former winner of the Galway Blazers and was fourth in that race last year. He’s come back down the ratings and mightn’t be a forlorn hope in a first-time tongue-tie. Don’t Let Go won nicely here in June and it might pay to forgive her a poor run since then at Tipperary.
