Afterwards that event was declared void, as Stars Over The Sea was deemed to have gained an unfair advantage at the start. To the satisfaction of many, the result was reinstated after an appeal. Indeed we had the Pyromaniac affair the year before that again and this time round WICKLOW BRAVE (what a servant he's been to connections) is taken to get the better of Daybreak Boy (for last year's winning stable of Henry de Bromhead), Ivanovich Gorbatov, Le Vagabond and Peregrine Run.
