FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - With his 100-rating AGITARE should take a bit of beating. The Coolcullen colt certainly went into the notebook after his effort here on Champions Weekend in mid-September. On that occasion in the Group Two KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes Agitare raced a little keenly, and he didn’t enjoy a clear run early. Soon towards the rear, the chestnut was pushed along and again didn’t get much room from under two furlongs out. Agitare then made headway to chase the front pair and kept on without threatening inside the final furlong. The selection ended up a length and a quarter and a length and three parts third to Mogul and Sinawann. If there wasn’t race winning potential in that run I don’t know when you’re ever going to see it. He has slower ground to contend with now but hopefully that won’t be any inconvenience to the Bolger owned/trained and bred.
