FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ASPIRE TOWER has displayed top class potential in his two hurdle wins todate, his latest being in a Grade 1 rout over course and distance on St Stephen's Day, and looks good enough to win today. A free-goer, he did extremely well to win on hurdles debut at Punchestown in November having displayed greeness jumping early-on before basically carting his way through the race thereafter and winning easily. He was again keen when winning at Leopardstown but was more measured and looks comfortably better than today's rivals, albeit he does need to relax sufficiently through his race today. Cerberus beat today's rival and stablemate A Wave Of The Sea (whom subsequently finished 17L behind runner-up and today's rival Wolf Prince in the Grade 1 at Leopardstown) to win a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse in December before filling second place in a Grade 1 race at Chepstown over Christmas. He was beaten by a high class horse in that Chepstow race and while he is himself clearly very capable, might find the selection too strong today. Wolf Prince was 18L second to the selection over Christmas and while he won a lesser race at Fairyhouse subsequently, there seems no reason for him to turn form with ASPIRE TOWER. Never Do Nothing was a 91 rated flat performer who won on hurdles debut at Musselburgh on new year's day. He is clealry open to more progression and while he could well place today, needs to step forward quite a bit to trouble the selection.
