He mightn't be everybody's cup of tea with three defeats to his name, particularly the eclipse when favourite at Downpatrick, but NEPTUNE gets my vote. Two and a half miles looks likely to play to Neptune's strengths, and it'd be reasonable to expect more from the chestnut with a bit of age and experience, indeed he seemed to come forward on the back of a 118 day break, at Navan when second on December 8th.
