A reproduction of that form should be good enough to win most maidens in the country. Wishing Star made a promising debut when third to I Can Fly at Dundalk last autumn but failed to justify favouritism when returning there a fortnight ago. The market should provide some clues as to the relative merits of a number of well-bred newcomers of which Luminist, Laajidaal and Scriobh Nua hold particular interest.
