FormscanBy Alan Magee - JOHAN ZOFFANI was just denied by Eloy D’amerval on debut over course and distance last month and again filled the runner-up spot on totally different ground conditions at the Curragh. The Zoffany colt was just outpointed in the closing stages by Champers Elysees having travelled well for much of the race, and is taken to gain compensation here. Aidan O’Brien has won this four times in the past decade and Hong Kong is now fitted with blinkers after beating all bar Big Call on testing ground at Limerick last weekend. Nullifier caught the eye when staying on into sixth here on debut in that maiden won by Eloy D’amerval and can be expected to progress quite a bit for the experience. Shooting Spirit also made a promising start in the same race, while Knight Of Malta and Thaleeq are two nicely bred newcomers to note.
