The Cable Bay filly beat subsequent winner Flaming Moon in a leg of this series at Fairyhouse last month and, while no match for the impressive Tango in the Legacy Stakes at the Curragh last Sunday, travelled well for a long way when runner-up in that Listed event on testing ground. Brunelle finished strongly to make a winning debut at Leopardstown and looks the pick on ratings by virtue of her run behind Lope Y Fernandez in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh. However the testing ground is a big concern for her supporters. Elite Legion is proven on the ground having won at Listowel, while Miss Myers also won in good style on heavy ground at Limerick last weekend.
