FormscanBy Tom Weekes - THE BOSSES OSCAR is a hopeful pick in an open looking handicap. He failed to win in two 4YO point-to-point starts but has shown useful ability in winning his bumper and on both maiden hurdle starts todate. He was second to smart Blue Sari at Punchestown in November before winning over today's trip on soft ground at Leopardstown over Christmas and should prove competitive from his initial 132 handicap rating. Kilfenora himself won over today's trip and on testing ground at Naas in November and has been raised 9lbs for the win. He has obvious claims on that form but has also plenty weight to carry today. Alfa Mix won over today's course and distance in December and while he too won't be helped by a 9lbs rise today, should still go well as a thoroughly progressive performer. Dolciano Dici was fourth to Alfa Mix here in December and has some claims as a consistent performer in these type of races. Coko Beach was a fraction disappointing when falling, when held, at the second last here in December and has a little to prove from his 142 mark today while Hareth ran well enough at Cork recently and has a light weight but isn't be ahead of the handicapper, aged ten.
