FormscanBy Tom Weekes - GOLD SPEED has shown enough in bumpers todate to suggest he can win on his fourth career start today. He ran a fine race on bumper debut in October 2017 when chasing home high class Felix Desjy and while he subsequently disappointed at Leopardstown two months later, was then absent until running another good race when second at Listowel earlier this month. He comes here as a proven performer and this race looks to be within his ability. Golden Nomad is a notable recruit to Gordon Elliott's yard, having won two point-to-points and having cost GBP52,000 last May. He is clearly a useful staying type and while he could well be equally effective, being untried, over two miles, his overall point-to-point form doesn't look anything special (nothing finishing behind him has, as yet, won on the racecourse) which is a little concern today. Bombay Blue, in a first-time tongue-tie, is a half-brother to useful Morga and is a notable newcomer from a yard well capable of winning with newcomers. Barnet Brook has shown ability in bumpers but might struggle to beat any smart types while Dads Lad showed greeness when running well on debut at Clonmel recently and could progress enough to get involved at the business end here. Moonlit Wings won an ordinary point-to-point easily last April and while this is a step up in grade, could well play her part.%0A
