The son of Flemensfirth won a point-to-point on his debut back in 2015, before winning his next three on the racecourse proper. He was a good third to Death Duty in a Grade 2 over flights at Navan last December, disappointing on his final start of the season at Fairyhouse in April. He should have no problems with the ground and the trip here, and with a clear round of jumping he can be expected to go close. Willie Mullins trains the selection and he is also represented by Cap D'Aubois, who will need to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Fairyhouse recently if he is to feature here. Any Second Now ran a fine race to finish second on his debut over fences at Punchestown last month, and he looks a leading contender with Mark Walsh aboard. Moulin A Vent is another to consider despite disappointing on his last start at Down Royal.
