FormscanBy Tom Weekes - EVERLASTINGPROMISE has been hit by a 5lbs ratings hike following his recent runner-up effort over course and distance but might be able win this competitive looking handicap. His form has improved on his last two starts and while he appeared set for victory on his latest start before being headed close home, it was a good effort and he pulled well clear of the other runners. He is a forward going type who will also appreciate today's sound surface. Great Khan has won just once in 23 starts but has run many solid races in defeat and comes here in excellent form following his latest runner-up finish (his fifth)at Galway last month. The form of that race has since taken a boost as the winner won again subsequently. Great Khan is himself now 2lbs higher at 119 but that is still lower than his hurdling mark of 123, suggesting he has solid claims here. Seskin Flyer has won four times and also comes here in fine form. He seems fairly ground-versatile, has won over course and distance and should go well with a 7lbs claimer back on board today. Cusp Of Carabelli is an interesting runner in that he has won his only previous chase start, at Tramore in August. He followed up that win with a hurdle success the following day and comes here having run three solid races in defeat over hurdles. His chase rating of 115 is just 1lb lower than his hurdles mark but he will be well suited by today's sound surface and is another with claims. One In All In finished second on his only previous handicap chase start and comes here in good shape following useful runs at Dundalk.
