He’s a former Grade One winning hurdler who enjoyed a wide-margin success on chasing debut at Kilbeggan. He was entitled to win that as he pleased and made some novice mistakes but there is no doubt there is plenty of horse to go to war with in this sphere. There is only 1lb between Sizing Pottsie and Galvin on ratings, however, the latter receives 3lb from the former. Galvin has won his last two over fences and before that was placed in a Listed novices’ handicap chase at the Cheltenham Festival. He is feared. Sizing Pottsie is highest rated on 149 and won a Grade 3 novice chase at Navan in March. Of course he has the ability to land the spoils but enthusiasm is tempered by him failing to complete in two of his four chases.
