FormscanBy Alan Magee - TASALKA made a promising debut when staying on over six furlongs at the Curragh last month. The daughter of Lope De Vega is now taken to reverse places with the second and third, Blissful and Getawiggleon, as she took a nice step forward next time out at Leopardstown when beating all bar a well-backed filly in the same ownership. Blissful is entitled to plenty of respect and, being a Galileo filly from Ballydoyle, is likely to continue to progress. Too Soon To Panic was another to get off to a bright start when third to Cayenne Pepper at Leopardstown but didn’t improve from that experience when fourth next time at the Galway Festival. Jessica Harrington has enjoyed a tremendous run with her juvenile fillies so any support for Mente Hermosa would be significant, while it is interesting to see Ger Lyons getting patronage from John Magnier with Even So.
