FormscanBy Alan Magee - LUXEMBOURG makes his eagerly awaited reappearance and is likely to be a warm order to regain the winning thread. The Camelot colt was unbeaten in three outings last year including the Beresford Stakes here in impressive fashion before landing the Group 1 Vertem Futurity Trophy at Doncaster. He was a strong favourite for the Derby after finishing third to Coroebus in the 2000 Guineas but has been sidelined since with a muscle injury. Insinuendo has also been absent since the spring with connections planning an autumn campaign for the filly who likes some ease in the ground. She won the Group 2 Kilboy Estate Stakes over nine furlongs last year and again ran a cracker at this venue on her reappearance over a mile when runner-up to Mother Earth. Georgeville, a Listed race winner over this trip at Leopardstown last autumn, should appreciate the step back up in distance.
