Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. All horses running in this race must hold a current Hunters Certificate. A Hunter Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2019/2020 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Office of the I.N.H.S. Committee, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 2nd March or the horse will not be qualified to start. The Stewards of the I.N.H.S. Committee have suspended the relevant part of Rule 78 to enable horses which run in this race (excluding the winner) to retain their Hunters Certificate for the remainder of the 2019/2020 season. HRI Directive 10 has been suspended for the purpose of this race and the following procedures for elimination and balloting of horses will apply. (i) The number of declared runners shall be reduced by first balloting those horses that have not won a Point-to-Point steeplechase since 6th October, 2018 (ii) In the event of Paragraph (i) not achieving the recommended limit a random ballot will then be applied to the remaining horses.
