Bubbly Bellini bids for his fifth win this season in the valuable Ladbrokes Mobile App Handicap on the penultimate day of the Galway Festival on Saturday.
The five-year-old got off the mark for the campaign at Limerick in mid-June and subsequent victories at Sligo, back at Limerick and most recently at the Curragh have seen his official rating rise by over 30lb.
He steps back up in distance from five to seven furlongs this weekend and trainer Ado McGuinness is hopeful of securing his second winner of the meeting after scoring with Face Value in a novice hurdle on Tuesday.
McGuinness said: "The horse is improving all the time and he's in good order.
"He likes soft ground all right but I hope it doesn't turn into really heavy ground.
"He has a nice draw and I think stepping back up to seven furlongs will suit him as he's a better horse going round a bend.
"He can win over five and seven furlongs because he's a horse you can settle in a race, whereas a lot of those sprinters just go flying off."
Bold Thady Quill is turned out four days after finishing fifth in the Topaz Mile and trainer Ken Condon believes his charge will be competitive again.
He said: "He ran a very good race from a poor draw the other day and if the forecast rain comes that will probably help us coming back to seven furlongs from a mile.
"He has a bit better draw in stall six and although the handicapper probably has a hold of him now, I'd expect him to run another solid race."
Edward Lynam is unsure what to expect from Vale Of Clara, who bolted up in a Naas maiden 11 days ago and starts off life in handicap company from a mark of 86.
He said: "She is in good form but I haven't had her all that long and she surprised when she won the other day in Naas.
"We still need to learn a bit more about her but she will handle the ground and has a good draw in stall one, so we'll roll the dice and see what happens.
"I couldn't tell you if the handicapper has got her mark right or not. When you win a maiden in Ireland you automatically get a mark in the 80s, so we'll find out if she's entitled to it."
