After a dry 24 hours, the going on the National Hunt course at Galway is good, while it's yielding on the Flat track.

The first of seven races is due of at 5:10 this evening, with the Connacht Hotel (Qualified Riders) Handicap the opening day feature.

The forecast is for a dry day, with rain possible overnight.
