Day three of the Galway festival is Plate Day and the 270,000 euro feature is off at 6.40pm this evening, with the first of seven races getting under way at 5.05 on a mixed card sponsored in its entirety by Tote Ireland.
There's a little bit of rain around this morning, with the weather set to improve ahead of racing, and the ground is still good for the jumpers with the Flat course now described as yielding, yielding to soft in places.
One of four in the feature race for Wille Mullins, Funiculi Funicula heads the market this morning at around 9/2.
