John Kinsella has Galway in mind for Bellaphina after she finished a highly-creditable third at 25/1 in the Listed Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes over an extended five-furlongs at Naas on Wednesday evening.
The five-year-old mare stayed on well to be beaten a length and a-quarter by British-raider Sky Majesty who took the honours for William Haggas.
Kinsella said: "She was good. She actually just got a bit unbalanced, maybe it was the first time in the visor and maybe she hit one of the ridges here.
“James (Ryan) said she flew home and she might go to Galway. There is a Listed race there for fillies only over seven (furlongs) and that would be more her trip.”
On getting the black-type, he added: “It’s very important as they are owner/breeders that have her as well - Liam Kavanagh and Alessandro Giannelli.”
This continued a lucrative summer for Bellaphina who landed the €100,000 GAIN Summer Fillies Handicap at the Curragh in June.
