It's good to ride a winner for connections that really enjoy it too. He jumped good and solid and was well-balanced on ground he wouldn't like. With the conditions of the race here it was a hard one to walk away from.

Maundy Money wins on another big day

He cost four and a half thousand out of Mark Johnston's a few years ago now (November 2005) and he's been a legend of a horse for us. He obviously likes festivals and as a ten-year-old he is still as fresh as paint.

Rosebud impresses in Listed Corrib Stakes

I have fifty odd in Ireland and in fairness to this one he is still learning. I had a winner when we were last here about three years ago with Loosen My Load so it's good. His jumping is a big asset. He is improving and getting stronger all the time. He'll keep to the novice route. (TW & EM)

He did it well and Pat gave him a lovely ride. He had a lot of weight but he's a good horse. I'm thrilled for the owner/breeder Sean Coughlan and his wife Anne who are here to see it. He's a very adaptable horse and I'm very pleased to have had two lovely winners today (won the Listed race earlier with Yellow Rosebud).
