Blue Mosque I was standing beside my nephew David Wright, who is a very lucky guy for me. When he stands beside me we have a winner every time!. He said to me halfway down the back ‘how are you going?’ and I said ‘I’d need a tin opener to get out of where we are!’ He got the tin opener working alright. We’ve rode her forward before and Donagh said the last day he was going to ride her from behind as he thought she’d be better off when ridden that way. She ran a helluva good race then. He said today that he was going to do the same thing as she enjoys passing horses. It was a great watch, when they get there. It’s an amazing family. Her breeder Christopher McKeever started off with a little mare who wasn’t much good, although she was probably unlucky not to win a race. Everything she’s bred has been incredibly lucky. |

Bobby McGee He’s a nice horse. Chris said he was lonely in front and he would have been happier with something bringing him along a little bit further, . We gelded him over the winter which was a big help to him. He was raunchy enough as a two-year-old. We always liked him and hopefully he’ll keep coming on from this. He can’t go up too much for a short-head. It was a nice race to win. He seemed to get the mile quite well. Chris rode him a few times last year, so it’s nice to see him win on him. He’ll go for something similar. We’ll try and go for the good handicaps with plenty of money over seven furlongs or a mile. |

Tell Nobody Nothin He’s been threatening to do that for a while. I don’t know what to make of him, maybe that’s his trip. When you’d run him over two-and-a-half(miles), it looked like he wanted three but, when you run him over three, he looked like he wanted two-and-a-half. He’s been disappointing. The race kind of fell apart in front of him which was a help, but he did find plenty today which was strange. Maybe he’ll come good for us now. His mother was a good mare and he’s a gorgeous-looking horse. |
