Sixteen year old Jack Kennedy became the youngest winning jockey of the Ladbrokes Troytown Chase at Navan today when steering the J.P. McManus owned Riverside City to lead home a 1-2 for trainer Gordon Elliott, who was also responsible for the 2014 winner.

Jack gave him a good ride and it's great for the boys (Tom Howley and Ollie Murphy, owners). He's a low grade handicapper, he is what he is and I didn't know what trip he wanted but he probably enjoyed being up there.
