After race at Leopardstown Fri, 19th May, 2023 (1st)  He likes to be let stride along like that, we were probably riding him wrong by holding him up,. Since we've let him use his stride he seems to be a bit better. I'd like to put him over two miles, I think he'll be better at two miles, and he might go to the big amateur handicap in Galway. Whether the handicapper will have him caught now, I don't know. The good thing is that he doesn't win by too far. He's progressing all the time and I might give him a run in a maiden hurdle between now and Galway. I'll talk to the owner, we might go for a two-mile handicap on Guineas weekend, and we'll see what he says. We have plenty of options, he's loving his racing and he's in a good place. It was actually Amy Jo that told me about this race last Saturday morning. She works hard so she deserves every ride she gets. Andrew Slattery

After race at Tipperary Thu, 20th Apr, 2023 (1st)  He is a good hardy horse, keeps galloping and was in off a good mark today and took full advantage of it. He had a nice run over hurdles on yielding ground at Tramore last year under my cousin Adam Ryan, who said he handled it and the ground isn't as bad as you'd think. He got the run of the race and I think he has matured from last year and is staying better. His owner Pat McNamara, from Limerick, is a lovely man who has kept the faith in the horse so thankfully he has come good. Andrew Slattery

After race at Dundalk Fri, 24th Mar, 2023 (1st)  We changed tactics with him to make plenty of use of him as he is a big long-striding horse. I thought if he stayed two miles the last day we would make use of him over that trip. It is great when a plan works, I fancied him tonight - he was 8lb better off with Higher Kingdom (second to him over C&D in January). He'll be kept busy on the turf and could go back over hurdles as well. Andrew Slattery

After race at Cork Sun, 3rd Apr, 2022 (1st)  We were worried that the ground tightened a bit but he handled it well. He is progressing in handicaps and will be better over 1m4f or 1m6f. He stays well. Hopefully he could end up being an Galway amateur handicap type of horse and it is great for his owner/breeder Pat McNamara. Andrew Slattery
