He had been running on deplorable ground and we thought this better ground would help him,. We were in two minds whether or not we'd draw the line with him or keep going. If we didn't get a result today we were going to keep him on the go for a novice chase. Brian was in the right place at the right time and came wide up the straight, which was a help and I think 2m5f is short of his best trip.

I was pleased to see the other horse (Willie Mullins' overnight favoruite Rambranlt'jac) come out but I think he has some sort of future,. We are not going to go any place fancy with him for the time being and we'll see what sort of rating he gets for those rated novices or he could go for a winners' of one. Jumping fences down the road will suit him too. He is owned by Mike Neville who is locally based in Castleconnell.
