Reports in which China One (GB) was mentioned
Tannery was hammered in the betting when running into a 50/1 surprise packet last time. This time the one for money was China One in the Follow Dundalk On Facebook but Tannery was the horse to prevail, bringing to an end a sequence of three second placings. The success brought up a double for David Wachman and Wayne Lordan following Duntle's earlier eighteen length rout.

China One was bred by Miss Kirsten Rausing and the Niarchos Family and he passed through the sales ring three times, for modest sums on each occasion, most recently for 11,500 Euros at Goresbridge in May 2011. Odds compilers saw fit to put a 10/1 beside the now three-year-old's name this morning for the Navan Lock & Key Maiden – he went off at 9/4 and he got the job done by two and a quarter lengths under Chris Hayes at Dundalk.

He was bought at Goresbridge for 12,000 and he did one bit of work last year and he showed enough. He's a big shell of a horse and we've always thought he could be a smart horse. He stays and he's got pace.
