She isn’t the biggest in the world but has a great attitude and had her ears pricked after two fences today. It looked like she wanted to stop with her ears pricked going down the back straight so Paul (Townend, on Kargese) went on which suited us grand, as it made for a good test of stamina. I ran her in a Grade One last season which knocked the edge off her at the end of the season, but she has black type now so it is great. We’ll go home and look at the book, but she deserves a little break now having had two quick runs. It is a long way to go before assessing possible Cheltenham options and a lot of water has to pass under the bridge before then.

I thought it was a good performance and she has a big heart. I ran her in a Grade 1 last season which knocked the edge off her at the end of the season but she has black-type now so it is great. Today's race wasn't really the plan but, after winning recently,Ãâ we stuck her in and then decided that we had to take our chance.Ãâ . Lisa (O'Neill, assistant trainer) is the only judge we have because she said she would win and we all went for the other one (Golden Joy)!. She's not a bad mare and she had graded form last year. I thought she would need the run to honest.

She didn’t lose much in defeat the last day, only that she got beat. We’re happy today. I’d say she likes a good gallop, she’ll stay very well.

she's (Kala Conti) a nice filly. Jack said he could have gone around again, she would have done more at home. I'd imagine we'll probably look at the graded race in Fairyhouse in two weeks time and she'll have an entry at Newbury on the same weekend. The other horse (outsider Bravewhenineedtobe) was taking her on and you're always waiting for something to go wrong in those races but it was pretty straight-forward and she did it well.
